Full job description

As a Zero-Hours Sales Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales targets in a busy mobile phone retail environment. You’ll help customers find the right phones, gadgets, and accessories, while representing the brand in a friendly and professional manner. This is a flexible, zero-hours position, with working hours offered based on store requirements.

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Sales Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to foster long-term relationships. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your sales skills within a professional environment, contributing to the growth of our organisation. The successful applicant will be expected to demonstrate strong communication skills, organisational ability, and a customer-focused attitude.

Duties

Welcome and assist customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable mobile phones, gadgets, and accessories.
Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets.
Keep up to date with the latest mobile technology, networks, and promotions.
Handle customer enquiries, returns, and complaints in a professional manner.
Process transactions accurately using the store’s POS system.
Maintain store standards, including product displays and cleanliness.
Support colleagues and management with general store operations.
Follow company policies and procedures, including data protection and health & safety.
Engage with potential and existing clients through various channels, including face-to-face meetings and digital correspondence.
Identify client needs and present suitable products or services effectively.
Negotiate terms and close sales agreements in line with company policies.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities using IT systems.
Manage a pipeline of leads, ensuring timely follow-up and progression through the sales cycle.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
Drive business growth by actively seeking new B2B opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
Organise appointments and manage schedules efficiently to optimise sales opportunities.

Experience

Proven experience in B2B sales or a similar client-facing role is preferred.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with IT systems utilised for customer relationship management (CRM) and data organisation.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in customer service roles will be considered beneficial but is not essential. This position offers an engaging environment for motivated individuals eager to advance their sales career while delivering exceptional service to clients.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
