Full job description

Internationally renowned hairdresser Guy Kremer is pleased to offer the opportunity for an experienced mens barber to join the team at their salon in Winchester.

The position is part time, with the working hours to be agreed.

The pay is salaried and competitive, to be agreed based on experience, plus commission on top.

Duties Include:

Greeting clients and visitors to the salon
Ensuring every client is happy and comfortable
Listening to the needs of clients and informing colleagues of any relevant information
Keeping up to date with fashions and trends in the hairdressing industry
Following all health and safety procedures
Helping to keep the salon clean and tidy
Promoting the salon's brand principles
Contributing to the promotion of a pleasant and positive salon atmosphere
Plenty of opportunities to work on shows, photoshoots and attend seminars

Skills Required

At least 5 years experience as a working barber is ESSENTIAL
Exemplary cutting skills
Excellent men's cutting/barbering skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Understand client needs
Excellent customer service

Personal Qualities

Friendly
Approachable
Great team player
Experienced and knowledgeable about hairdressing

Qualifications Required

At least Level 2 qualified in Hair
5+ years of experience
Excellent skills in men's barbering
Must be UK based and authorised to work in the UK
