Full-time | Office-based
A newly created Marketing Manager role has opened at Laik, one of the Lake District’s fastest-growing independent hospitality brands.
Laik is a privately owned, family-run business managing a curated portfolio of premium holiday homes across the Lake District. Over recent years the business has grown rapidly through a strong focus on guest experience, design, technology and brand, with ambitious plans for continued growth ahead.
We are now looking for an experienced, commercially minded and creatively driven Marketing Manager to help shape the next chapter of the business.
This is not a traditional marketing role. The successful candidate will work closely with the directors and become a key part of the leadership and growth of the brand. You will play a central role in developing marketing strategy, coordinating campaigns, managing external partners and driving both guest bookings and property portfolio growth.
We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of the Laik brand and help build the business long term. This role will involve helping shape and lead the overall marketing strategy, coordinating and managing the current external marketing team and creating a more joined-up, commercially focused approach across all channels.
This role requires a genuine self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment, enjoys taking responsibility and is excited by the opportunity to help build one of the Lake District’s most ambitious hospitality brands.
The Role
You will lead and coordinate marketing activity across the business, ensuring a more joined-up, commercially focused and brand-led approach across all channels.
You will work closely with our SEO, PPC, PR and creative partners while also helping shape the wider direction of the Laik brand.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working at pace, taking ownership and being part of a growing entrepreneurial business where ideas move quickly into action.

- Coordinate and manage external agencies, freelancers and creative partners

- Support ongoing website development and brand consistency
- Stay informed on market trends, hospitality trends and competitor activity
The Person
We’re looking for someone proactive, commercially aware and creatively confident, someone equally comfortable discussing campaign performance, brand direction, partnerships and content ideas.
The ideal candidate will have:

- Confidence using modern AI tools and technologies to improve marketing efficiency, creativity and campaign performance
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills
