We’re hiring at Hussell Up.
This is a key role in our growing team.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands social media, content and creativity.
Someone who can spot a strong idea and understand what makes a brand feel different, and take pride in delivering a high standard every single time.
You’ll be organised when things get busy, calm under pressure, and confident communicating with clients face-to-face.
You’ll understand that social media today is about far more than just posting content. It’s about positioning, storytelling, trust, consistency and helping brands become impossible to ignore.
If you naturally take ownership, communicate well, care about the details, and love creating content that actually means something, you’ll feel at home here.
What matters to us
At Hussell Up, client experience sits at the centre of everything we do.
We work closely with ambitious brands across hospitality, wellness, property, interiors and lifestyle to create social media that feels human, strategic and genuinely useful.
We care deeply about creativity, consistency, communication and quality.
We’re looking for someone who shares that mindset. Someone who wants to create work they’re proud of, deliver an outstanding experience for clients, and be part of a modern creative agency that is building things differently.
We are not trying to build a traditional agency.
Our team working week is 4 days per week, 9:30am to 4:00pm.
We believe people can do better creative work when they have more focus, more ownership and a better working rhythm.
We work differently, but we still have high standards. We expect clear communication, strong organisation, care for the client, respect for deadlines and real ownership of the work.
The role
You’ll work closely with Tess and Liam across client social media accounts and content creation projects.
This is a hands-on, creative role that combines social media management, content creation, client communication, planning, ideas and organisation.
You’ll be involved in planning content, attending shoot days, creating ideas, filming content, managing social accounts, writing captions, scheduling posts and helping ensure every client receives a consistently high standard of service.
No two days are the same, and that’s exactly how we like it.
That is agency life. It is varied, fast-moving and creative.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing client social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn and Youtube.
- Planning content
- Writing captions that match each client’s tone of voice and brand
- Creating content ideas for reels, carousels, stories and campaigns
- Attending content shoot days alongside the team
- Filming and capturing high-quality content for clients
- Supporting creative planning, campaign ideas and content direction
- Communicating confidently with clients online and in person
- Helping clients feel comfortable and confident during filming
- Organising client assets, content plans and project details
- Monitoring account performance and spotting opportunities for improvement
- Keeping projects, deadlines and client communication organised
- Working collaboratively with the wider Hussell Up team
What we’re looking for
We care far more about attitude, standards, creativity and experience than having a perfect CV.
You’ll likely recognise yourself in the following:
- You genuinely understand social media and content
- You have experience creating content for brands, businesses or clients
- You can write strong captions in different tones of voice
- You have a creative eye and strong attention to detail
- You naturally communicate well with people
- You’re confident working face-to-face with clients
- You understand social media beyond just trends and posting
- You’re proactive and take ownership without needing constant direction
- You’re organised and able to manage multiple projects at once
- You care about delivering work to a high standard
- You stay calm and solutions-focused under pressure
- You enjoy being part of a positive, ambitious team
Experience with content creation, filming, editing, Canva, CapCut or social media management platforms is a real advantage.
A full driving licence is essential as the role involves travelling to client shoot days.
This role is probably right for you if
You love social media, but you also understand it is not just about filling a calendar.
You notice why some brands feel interesting and others feel forgettable.
You care about words, visuals, ideas, storytelling and how a business shows up.
You want to work somewhere creative, but you also want structure.
You want responsibility, not just tasks.
You want to be part of a modern creative agency that is doing things differently, but still takes the work seriously.
