Full job description

Duties:

Ensure the Finance Manager receives accurate and appropriate management reports to support decision making.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Process supplier invoices, customer payments, and financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure financial procedures are followed and maintained in accordance with company policies and ISO requirements.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and employee expenses.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including fixed asset registers.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
Prepare financial reports and management information using Xero and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Respond to finance-related queries from customers, suppliers, and colleagues, maintaining accurate records of communications.
Support payroll administration and related processes.
Assist the HR Director with employee benefits administration and HR-related activities.
Provide day-to-day office administration support.
Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support accurate reporting and efficient operations.

About You

You will be a proactive and reliable professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. You will be keen to demonstrate continuous learning and interest to take up formal qualifications.

Skills & Experience

Previous finance administration, or accounts assistant experience desirable.
Proficiency with accounting software; experience using Xero is preferred.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
Experience supporting payroll, HR administration, or office management would be advantageous.
