Live-in accommodation (all bills) at prime site in Esher, Surrey included
Tails wagging since 1959.
At Royvon, we're passionate about helping dogs and their families live happier lives together.
We're looking for an experienced dog professional to become our Head Team Lead at our Esher facility—a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend your days working alongside the team, caring for dogs, delivering services and helping others become the best they can be.
You'll be out on the floor, leading by example, supporting the team, maintaining exceptional welfare standards and making sure every dog receives the care and enrichment they deserve.
Working closely with our General Manager, you'll help oversee our growing team of specialist Team Leads, supporting areas such as enrichment, dedicated handlers and puppy & senior care. Your role is to help these teams thrive by coaching staff, sharing your knowledge and ensuring the Royvon Standard is delivered every day.
What you'll be doing
- Working hands-on with dogs across boarding, daycare and enrichment.
- Supporting and coaching the care team throughout the day.
- Helping our specialist Team Leads develop their departments.
- Carrying out quality and welfare checks.
- Leading by example and maintaining high standards of care.
- Completing evening welfare checks as part of the live-in role.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working professionally with dogs.
- Enjoys helping others learn and develop.
- Leads naturally by example.
- Has a great understanding of dog welfare and behaviour.
- Is organised, positive and happy to get stuck in.
- Wants to help raise standards across one of the UK's leading dog care businesses.
- Has experience in dog training and behaviour (a bonus, but not essential).
You don't need to be an experienced dog trainer to join us. What matters most is your passion for dogs, your enthusiasm to learn, and your commitment to providing exceptional care.
At Royvon, we specialise in caring for dogs of all breeds, ages and personalities, including many anxious and reactive dogs. Working alongside our experienced trainers gives you the opportunity to develop your knowledge of canine behaviour, handling and force-free training while helping to change dogs' lives every day.
Why Royvon?
For over 65 years, Royvon has been raising the standard of dog boarding, daycare and training.
We're investing in our people, creating specialist roles and giving our team real opportunities to develop their careers.
If you're looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact—not just on the dogs in our care, but on the people caring for them too—we'd love to hear from you.
Benefits include:
- Live-in accommodation
- Employee discount
- Ongoing training and development
- Career progression opportunities
- The chance to work with an incredible team of people who genuinely care about dogs
Pay: £30,000.00 per year
Application question(s):
- Tell us about your experience working professionally with dogs. Please include the types of roles you've worked in and the responsibilities you had.
- Tell us about your experience leading, mentoring or supporting a team. This doesn't have to be in a management role—we'd love to hear how you've helped others develop.
- What does exceptional dog welfare mean to you, and why do you think it's important in a boarding environment?
- This is a live-in role, with accommodation provided on site and responsibility for evening welfare checks. Why does a live-in position suit your circumstances, and are you comfortable with the responsibilities that come with living on site?
- Why would you like to join Royvon, and what excites you most about this role?
