Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Supervisor with active SC (Security Check) clearance to oversee security operations at one of our MOD site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, loss prevention measures, and effective team leadership. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced security professionals committed to safeguarding assets and personnel in a high-security setting. Candidates must possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate under pressure.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the security team to ensure effective coverage across the site.
Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and respond to suspicious activities or security breaches.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Manage access control procedures, including visitor checks and issuing security passes.
Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary.
Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs for review and compliance purposes.
Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any faults or issues promptly.
Enforce company policies and procedures related to security protocols.

Experience

Proven experience in a security supervisory role within a high-security environment.
Active SC (Security Check) clearance is essential.
Demonstrable knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and loss prevention techniques.
First aid certification or experience in emergency response management is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively under pressure.
Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations. This role is ideal for dedicated security professionals seeking a challenging position that plays a vital part in safeguarding personnel and assets within a secure environment.
