Duties
· Learn to mask and de mask any job that comes into the paint shop.
· Assist with preparing parts prior to operations including plastic bead and grit blasting.
· Help to apply primer and top coat in line with customers specifications
· Touch up any parts where required.
· Hand painting required parts.
· Rubbing down and general paint prep.
· Learn to rework on any job where required and familiar with Quality Assurance requirements & rework procedures.
· Assist with booking paint in & out.
· Stock check of supplies.
· Adherence to daily, weekly, monthly maintenance tasks within the area.
· Demonstrate a proactive attitude within your team at all times.
· Learn to Anodise, Passivate, Alocrom and Etch parts in treatments prior to paint
· Contribute to continuous improvement and the elimination of non-value added activities, whilst maintaining the necessary quality standards.
· Being flexible in supporting other roles within the business is a key part of the job.
· Responsible for personal Health and Safety.
· Responsible for 5S by keeping the area clean and organised.
· Responsible for ensuring batch card discipline is maintained.
· Support Sigma Components with any audits associated to the process.
Salary DOE
Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
