About the Department:
You will be joining a dedicated team of Maths practitioners. Each classroom is well-equipped with interactive TVs and visualisers.
We also offer a comprehensive co-curricular programme, encompassing activities such as a thriving Axiom Maths Circle and the Outwood Maths Masters programme.
We value teachers with the skills and passion to teach all ability students.
- Supportive Leadership: The department will be led by our experienced Head of Department with a vision to succeed, and you will be supported by an experienced team of School Improvement Partners as you work to raise attainment levels and offer an engaging curriculum experience that focuses on teaching for understanding.
- Targeted Support: We benefit from a maths one-to-one tutor who offers intervention to students, helping you to raise attainment levels.
- Maths Hub Connection: The Trust is very well connected to the local Maths Hubs, with the Yorkshire and Humber Hub being based in the Outwood Institute of Education.
