CNC Machinist (Mills or Mill-Turns)

Near Reading
Up to £50k per annum
Day Shift or Night Shift Available

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team near Reading. This is a day shift position, ideal for a skilled engineer with experience operating, setting, and programming CNC machinery.

Key Responsibilities

Set, operate, and programme CNC mill-turn or milling machines
Work with Mazatrol, Hurco, or Fanuc controls
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Ensure components are produced to high quality standards
Carry out routine machine maintenance and adjustments
Maintain a safe and organised working environment

Requirements

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist (milling or mill-turn)
Ability to set and programme CNC machines
Experience with Mazatrol, Hurco, or Fanuc controls
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
