About Us
Red Technology is an ecommerce solutions provider based in Eynsham, Oxfordshire. We run our own hosting platform across two datacentres and support a wide range of infrastructure systems. We’re a small, friendly team looking for someone who genuinely loves technology and enjoys experimenting, building, and learning.
This is a junior IT role ideal for someone with hands‑on enthusiasm, not necessarily a graduate. If you tinker with PCs, run home servers, explore networking, or like taking things apart to understand how they work — we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Primary Focus: Hosting & Operations
- Carry out daily operational checks across systems and infrastructure
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining systems across two datacentres
- Help manage renewals for domain names and digital certificates
- Support quarterly compliance activities (PCI DSS)
- Work with Cisco Firewall, Linux, Windows Server, and SQL Server environments
Secondary: Internal IT Support
- Support Windows desktop environments and Microsoft 365
- Perform basic networking and firewall configuration
- Commission and maintain PCs and laptops
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for colleagues
This role is designed to grow. Over time, you’ll take on more advanced hosting and infrastructure responsibilities.
