To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Self Employed Group Exercise Instructor to join our Team
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Self-Employed Group Exercise Instructor to deliver engaging, safe, and effective fitness classes to a diverse range of clients. You will be responsible for planning and leading group sessions that motivate participants, promote health and wellbeing, and create a positive and inclusive environment. As a self-employed professional, you will manage your own schedule and business development.
This role will provide Group Exercise Instructor classes across our three sites.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality group exercise classes (e.g., HIIT, strength training, yoga, Pilates, spin, dance fitness)

Adapt sessions to suit varying fitness levels and individual needs

Ensure all classes are conducted safely, following health and safety guidelines

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage retention)

Stay up to date with fitness trends, techniques, and industry standards
Requirements:

Relevant fitness qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Gym Instructor or Group Exercise Certification or equivalent)

Public liability insurance (required for self-employed status)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to motivate and engage groups of varying sizes and abilities

Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals
Desirable Skills:

Experience delivering multiple class formats
-
Existing client base or following
-
Social media marketing skills
-
Additional specialist certifications (e.g., pre/postnatal fitness, nutrition coaching)
