Salary: (Apprentice National Minimum Wage)
Hours: 38 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
We are a leading subcontract manufacturer of precision components for the Aerospace, Medical, and Oil & Gas sectors. Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking to recruit an Apprentice CNC Machinist to join our skilled engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their engineering career. Full training will be provided on-site, alongside structured learning through Hull College.
About the Apprenticeship
The successful candidate will be enrolled onto the Level 2 Engineering course at Hull College, gaining core machining and engineering skills through a combination of hands-on training and classroom learning.
Entry Requirements (Hull College Level 2 Engineering)
4 GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above
English and Maths are mandatory subjects
English & Maths Support: If you do not have grade 4 (C), you will continue to study English and/or Maths as part of the programme.

Role Responsibilities
Learn to set and operate CNC Milling machines
Assist with program proving under supervision
Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings
Follow all safety procedures and work instructions
Keep the work area clean and organised
Work effectively as part of a team
Requirements

Willingness to learn and develop practical skills
Good attention to detail and reliability
Meets the GCSE entry requirements listed above
