Purchase Ledger Clerk - Motor Trade
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at our Volvo site in Doncaster. You will play a key role in the smooth running of the accounts department, ensuring supplier invoices, reconciliations, and financial records are processed accurately and on time.
Essentials (You Must Have):

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
-
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Strong organisational and communication skills
-
Motor retail experience desirable
Key Responsibilities:

Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct authorisation.

Match invoices to purchase orders and goods receipt notes.

Investigate and resolve invoice or supplier discrepancies.

Reconcile supplier statements and purchase ledger accounts.

Maintain accurate purchase order and financial records.

Support month-end and year-end processes.

Assist with inventory and purchase ledger reconciliations.

Ensure all records are maintained for audit purposes.
About You:

Experienced in purchase ledger or accounts administration.

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Confident working with financial systems, Excel, and Microsoft Office.

Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
