About the Role:

Liverpool has a proud entertainment and leisure culture, and at Scandinavian Pinball Entertainment, we bring that energy into modern arcade and interactive gaming experiences.

We operate and support pinball machines, arcade equipment, entertainment venues, corporate events, and commercial leisure partnerships. We are looking for a Head of Entertainment Operations who can lead our operational strategy and ensure every customer, venue partner, and event receives a reliable and memorable experience.

You will oversee day to day operations across equipment logistics, venue support, technical servicing, event delivery, supplier coordination, and customer experience. You will lead a growing operations team while working closely with commercial partners, technicians, suppliers, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

Lead the daily operation of entertainment equipment, venue services, corporate events, maintenance schedules, and customer support activities.

Team Management:

Manage and develop operations coordinators, technicians, event staff, and external service providers. Set clear targets and maintain high performance standards.

Equipment and Venue Operations:

Oversee the installation, movement, maintenance, storage, and servicing of pinball machines and arcade equipment across customer and company locations.

Event Delivery:

Ensure corporate events, exhibitions, private bookings, and venue installations are delivered safely, professionally, and on schedule.

Supplier Management:

Build strong relationships with equipment manufacturers, logistics companies, parts suppliers, venues, and specialist contractors.

Customer Experience:

Maintain high service standards and resolve operational issues quickly to protect customer satisfaction and commercial relationships.

Health and Safety:

Ensure all entertainment equipment, venues, transport activities, and events comply with health and safety requirements and internal operating procedures.

Budget Management:

Manage operational budgets, supplier costs, staffing requirements, maintenance expenses, and equipment utilisation.

Performance Improvement:

Monitor service levels, equipment downtime, event performance, customer feedback, and operational costs. Introduce improvements based on performance data.

Stakeholder Management:

Provide regular operational reports to senior management and communicate clearly with clients, venue partners, suppliers, and internal teams.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

At least 6 years of experience in entertainment operations, leisure management, hospitality, events, venue operations, logistics, or a related commercial environment.

Leadership Background:

At least 2 years of experience managing operational teams, technical staff, event teams, or multi site services.

Operational Knowledge:

Strong understanding of scheduling, supplier coordination, equipment management, customer service, budgeting, and operational performance.

Commercial Awareness:

Able to balance service quality, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business profitability.

Communication Skills:

Confident communicating with employees, suppliers, customers, commercial partners, and senior stakeholders.

Problem Solving:

Able to remain calm and make practical decisions when dealing with equipment failures, staffing issues, delivery delays, or last minute event changes.

Technical Interest:

An interest in pinball, arcade machines, interactive entertainment, gaming technology, or leisure equipment would be advantageous.

Mindset:

You are organised, commercially aware, hands on, and comfortable taking responsibility. You understand when to follow established processes and when operational circumstances require a fast and practical solution.

Pay: £64,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
