Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working within a fast-paced food production environment, ensuring that all products meet strict safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining efficient operations and upholding food safety protocols. Duties

Operate various production machinery with precision, adhering to operational guidelines and safety procedures.
Monitor the production process to ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and products, identifying any issues that may affect quality or safety.
Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products, following specified recipes and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area to meet hygiene regulations.
Perform basic troubleshooting on machinery and report any malfunctions to maintenance teams promptly.
Record production data accurately, including quantities produced, machine performance, and quality checks.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and adhering to best practices.

Qualifications

Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
Previous experience in food production or manufacturing environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Mechanical knowledge or experience with industrial equipment is beneficial.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and data recording are required.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure product quality and safety standards are maintained.
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including potential weekend or evening hours depending on operational needs.
