Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Leader to oversee and enhance our organisation’s quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of product safety, compliance, and excellence. Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance programmes in line with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with HACCP protocols and other safety standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality procedures.
- Analyse quality data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process optimisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Support product development teams by reviewing specifications and conducting risk assessments.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality activities, reports, and audit findings.
Skills
- Proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Organised approach with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for training staff and liaising with regulatory bodies.
- Ability to lead initiatives for continuous improvement while fostering a culture of quality excellence.
- Proficiency in relevant quality management systems (QMS) software is desirable. Pay: £24,420.00-£49,090.83 per year
