Summary
We are seeking a dedicated CBT Therapist Lead to join our team at Bethlem Hospital, within our Trauma informed Childrens Secure Home. Based in Bethlem, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead cognitive-behavioral therapy initiatives within the NHS framework, contributing to improved mental health services and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate cognitive-behavioral therapy programs.
- Supervise and mentor a team of CBT therapists to ensure high standards of care.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mental health services.
- Monitor and evaluate therapy outcomes to improve service delivery.
- Provide training and support to staff on CBT techniques and best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with NHS policies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications
- Qualified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) with relevant certification.
- Proven experience in leading mental health therapy teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of NHS policies and mental health care standards.
- Experience within CAMHS or Children in care
- Trauma informed approach
- Ability to develop effective treatment plans.
- Experience with supervision and staff development is preferred.
- Proficiency in IT systems related to healthcare documentation.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
