Position Summary: The Activity Leader/ Student Services Coordinator role is focused on delivering a great social programme to our students at all times by providing them with activities, excursions and great customer service, ensuring each student’s experience with EC exceeds their expectations. The Activity Leader/ Student Services Coordinator will also support the team at reception with general administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:

Acts as the first point of contact for students and visitors, providing a welcoming, professional service and responding to enquiries, requests and feedback.
- Works with the Centre Director and Director of Studies (DoS) to generate and convert walk-in student enquiries.
- Manages the accommodation function, including allocating residences and homestays within company timeframes and maintaining accurate records in line with company policy.
- Plans, coordinates and promotes the student social programme, supporting students with activities and excursions.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including immigration and statutory procedures.
- Identifies and implements opportunities to improve processes and enhance the student experience, including managing the Student Ambassador Programme.
- Coordinates all aspects of the student arrival experience, including airport transfers, accommodation arrivals, homestay placements and first-day arrangements.
- Provides administrative and record-keeping support to the Centre Director, Director of Studies and Student Services Manager as required.
- Assists with the collection of outstanding student payments in accordance with company finance policies and procedures.
- Acts as the Centre's Designated Safeguarding Officer, supporting staff with safeguarding concerns in the absence of the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Education Required:

A-level or equivalent
Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Higher Education
- Knowledge of a language other than English is considered an asset
Experience Desired:

Customer Service experience
- Working in a multi-cultural environment
- Has personally travelled as a language student
- Previous work experience in an English Language School
