Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef / Cook to join our vibrant culinary team! In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional food experiences by supervising food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and inspiring your team to achieve culinary excellence. Your leadership will ensure that every dish meets our high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while fostering a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties

Oversee daily food production activities, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of high-quality dishes.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster teamwork and professional growth.
Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating to maintain excellence in taste, presentation, and adherence to recipes.
Enforce food safety standards and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and optimal customer satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimize waste.
Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace.

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary environment or restaurant setting.
Extensive food production and cooking experience with a strong understanding of kitchen operations.
Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
Solid background in food safety practices and sanitation standards.
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques across various cuisines is a plus.
Strong leadership qualities coupled with excellent communication skills to foster teamwork and accountability.
