HG OFFSITE SOLUTIONS Modular Bathroom Manufacturer, part of HG Construction Group

With an enviable reputation in construction, we now have a growing and expanding portfolio in bathroom pod manufacturing. We have an excellent opportunity for senior production supervisor to join our expanding bathroom manufacturing business. Applicants should be suitably qualified & experienced to produce work of the highest quality, whilst working to strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies.
Promote good working practices and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures by colleagues and contractors (taking appropriate action where necessary)..
Organise workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
Oversee and coach employees.
Conducting toolbox talks as and when required.
Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
Check production output according to specifications.
Submit reports on performance and progress.
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
Arrange training for new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.
Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
Good knowledge of health and safety standards and workplace compliance.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
Experience in HR procedures and performance management

Hours of work: 40 per week

Working hours: Mon-Thu 7:30am-17:00pm Fri-7:30am-11:30am with flexibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
