Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Customer Services Order Fulfilment Coordinator to join our team. This role involves managing customer orders, ensuring timely fulfilment, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and internal departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, proficient computer literacy, and exceptional organisational abilities to support our sales and logistics operations effectively.

Summary of Position

Working as an integral part of the customer service team, to complete numerous tasks, which deliver a vital service to our new and existing customer base.
Providing exceptional service by exceeding expectations and promoting a culture of excellence by prioritising customer satisfaction.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Order Fulfilment Coordinator to join our Customer Service team. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders for our portfolio of chemical products. You will work closely with Sales, Warehouse, and Compliance teams to maintain smooth order flow, regulatory compliance, and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Receive, review, and enter customer orders into the Sap / ERP system. KPI ~ 30 orders per day
Verify product codes, quantities, pricing, and customer account details.
Monitor order progress, ensuring any updates are communicated to customers.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to prioritise and schedule dispatches.
Ensure compliance with ADR, REACH, and other relevant chemical regulations.
Provide order confirmations.
Updating customer reports / delivery dates from various reports and keeping on top of Overdue orders.
Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Proactively care for and maintain open orders.

Qualifications and education requirements

Good GCSE or equivalent grades in core subjects
Chemistry qualifications / interest is desirable
Proficient on Microsoft Office
Experience on SAP system desirable

Skills

Essential:

Friendly and outgoing person
Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload.
Resilient approach, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
Proven experience in order fulfilment, logistics, or customer service within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Competent in ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills with internal teams and external customers.

Desirable:

Knowledge of international shipping and Incoterms.
Familiarity with chemical handling regulations (ADR, REACH, CLP) and documentation.
Experience in a chemical distribution company or laboratory supply chain.
Understanding of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
