Summary

We are seeking a Road Sweeper Driver to join our dedicated team in Wellington, Somerset. This role is vital in maintaining safe and efficient roadways by operating specialized cleaning vehicles. You will contribute directly to our mission of improving road safety and infrastructure quality.
Responsibilities

Operate road sweeping vehicles safely and efficiently to clean designated roads.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during operations.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment as needed.
Report any vehicle or operational issues to management promptly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Support other surface maintenance activities as required.
Qualifications
Valid driving license suitable for commercial vehicles - CLASS 2 CAT C License is essential
Proven experience in driving large or specialized vehicles such as flatbeds or sweepers.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to vehicle operation.
Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections.
Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
Prior experience in road maintenance or surface cleaning is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and reliability.
