Job Overview

We are seeking an Experienced Panel Wirer to join our manufacturing team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical assembly and wiring, with a focus on precision and safety. This role involves working with various wiring techniques and components to assemble control panels and electrical enclosures, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The successful applicant will contribute to the production of high-quality electrical systems in a fast-paced environment, supporting our commitment to excellence and safety.

Duties

Assemble electrical panels and control cabinets using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
Wire components according to technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Conduct testing of assembled panels to ensure functionality and safety standards are met.
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and modifications on existing panels.
Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues during assembly processes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or in a similar electrical assembly role.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised assembly equipment.
Knowledge of wiring programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Strong electrical knowledge including wiring standards and safety protocols.
Mechanical understanding related to panel assembly and component integration.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or related fields are preferred but not essential.
