TheSenior Facilities Manager is responsible for the end-to-end leadership,delivery, and continuous improvement of all Soft Services operations across alarge, high-profile client site. The role provides direct people leadership,oversees multiple in-house teams and third-party suppliers, and acts as thesite owner for standards, safety, service quality, and client experience. Thisposition plays a critical role in translating client strategy into operationaldelivery, driving efficiency, sustainability, compliance, and serviceexcellence while modelling CBRE RISE values.
WhatYou’ll Do:
- Provide formal supervision for employees, including performance management,coaching, and development planning.
- Track and support training and competency development across all soft servicesteams.
- Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of staff.
- Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure appropriate resourcinglevels.
- Crosstrain staff to improve resilience, flexibility, and succession coverage.
- Mentor and coach team members to drive engagement and performance improvement.Soft Services & Site Operations
- Own the overall operational delivery of a large client site
- Attend/lead Client and Stakeholder meeting.
- Review all service line for best practise and efficiencies
- Lead and supervise the Grounds Maintenance team, ensuring outdoor spaces aresafe, compliant, and well-maintained.
- Oversee and continuously improve the Outdoor Services program, identifyingenhancement opportunities.
- Lead the Site Logistics and Stores team, including campus materials handling,inventory control, storage, and equipment management.
- Optimize inventory management and procurement processes to improve efficiencyand cost control.
- Lead the Waste Collection team, developing waste strategies, promotingrecycling and sustainability, and ensuring compliance with environmentalregulations.
- Manage the Client Catering contract, ensuring service quality, compliance, andalignment with client expectations.
- Supervise all key third-party suppliers, including Janitorial, Pest Control,Security, and other soft services vendors.
- Manage additional third-party suppliers on an ad-hoc basis as required.
WhatYou’ll Need:
- Provide formal supervision for employees. Track the training and development ofstaff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting andhiring of new employees.
- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities for. Establish workschedules, assign tasks, and cross train staff. Set and track staff anddepartment deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
- Supervise and lead the Grounds maintenance team to ensure the site is of a highstandard and safe for everyone. Oversee the program for outdoor services andlook for where this can be enhanced
- Supervise and lead the Site Logistics and Stores steam through Campus materialsincluding inventory and ensure the efficient handling of the storage suppliesand equipment while looking at optimizing the inventory management/procurementprocess,
- Supervise and lead the Waste Collection team including developing wastecollection strategies, promoting recycling/sustainability, ensuring compliancewith Environmental regulations related to waste disposal. • Management of theClint Catering contract.
- Supervise and lead all third-party suppliers including Janitorial, Pest Controland Security for the site.
- Regularly review work streams for efficiency and improvements.
- Manage other key third-party suppliers on ad hoc requests.
