Plant Designs is London’s foremost design-led plant experts, bringing greenery and life into workspaces and events. We create, install, and care for some of the city’s most innovative interior plant displays, working with over 350 clients to deliver the benefits of plants in the workplace.
As we grow our team in 2026, we are looking for horticulturalists to join us in maintaining and enhancing our client displays across London.
The Role
You will provide top-quality care for interior (and occasionally exterior) plant displays, focusing on the delivery of plant replacements to a range of commercial spaces and offices and the maintenance of trees and tropical plants, to ensure our sites look their best and clients enjoy an exceptional service.
This role will be based out of our warehouse in Greenford, West London and requires ability to drive a company van in and aroun London on a daily basis.
This is a full-time role at 40 hours per week and requires flexible working times, including early mornings, overnight works and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain plant displays to the highest standards – watering, pruning, planting, cleaning, and weed control. This work involves manual handling and working at heights on a regular basis.
- Developing horticultural knowledge with support of internal training.
- Driving and loading/unloading company vehicles, up to Luton size (3.5 ton) vans.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while representing Plant Designs professionally on-site.
- Follow a maintenance schedule independently, completing tasks and reports efficiently and proactively.
- Contributing ideas to improve plant care and client experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Certified horticultural qualifications with hands-on experience in professional settings.
- Full, clean driving license is essential with experience of driving vans.
- Experience in client-facing roles or customer service is desirable.
- Health & Safety awareness and physical capability of lifting and moving items safely.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and adapt to flexible hours, including early mornings, overnight works and weekends.
- IT literate, fluent in written and spoken English, with strong communication and people skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
