Why We're Hiring
We need a more experienced Foreman (or two) to manage teams of tree surgeons and deliver a first class customer service. Also we need help up-skilling and training our newer tree surgeons. We currently have a team of 12 tree surgeons looking after our customers trees, hedges and grounds. The package
40 hour working week plus travel time. 4 days running a team, 1 day up-skilling & training the newer team members. Starting salary of £42,000 per annum, that rises to £45,000 after you have successfully completed 6 month training and probation.
On top of your daily rate you will receive extra payments for
- Travel to and from site, paid at £15 per hour
- Working on a Saturday, an extra £30
- Overtime at 1.5 times your hourly rate
- 28 days holiday (includes bank holidays) this rises by 1 day every complete year worked

- Quarterly days out, from Trade Shows to Go-Karting, we get everyone out to have fun/get inspired together.
The Perfect Candidate will be able to tick all the boxes below
- You will have 5 years industry experience.
- You hold a current UK driving license.
- You'll be a people person.
- You'll been happy to work outdoors in all weather.
- You’ll like trees.
- You'll be motivated to provide our customers with exceptional service, to leave them with a smile on their face when our works are completed.
- You’ll be proactive and responsible, owning problems and making sure that they are dealt with efficiently and competently.
- You have a sense of satisfaction when you help others achieve their goals and teach them new skills.

Your typical day as a foreman…
6:50am Arrive make a Tea/coffee, put on your boots
7am Hold pre start team meeting.
7:05am Load up and carry out daily maintenance
7:30am Drive to your work site.
8am Arrive at site and meet your customer
8:05am Walk through the job with the customer and brief your team.
8:15am Set up site
8:30am Start working and have the crack with your team on the comms
10:30am Stop for tea and cake that the lovely customer has made for you
10:45am Carrying on working
12noon Stop for lunch and put your feet up for 30mins and discuss life the universe and everything
12:30 Back to work and finish the job
2:30pm Final tidy up, check the customers happy and pack away the equipment
2:45pm Your customer loves what you have achieved and gives you Google Review, securing a Bonus for your team.
3pm Drive back to the depot
3:30pm Arrive at the depot, tip off the waste, put the equipment away and park up your vehicles.
3:55pm Hold your team meeting
4pm Time to go home.

8am Meet a team on site
8:30am Assist an individual to practise/master or gain a skill.
11:30am Update the training notes and matrix
12:00noon Travel back to yard
12:30pm Help make some training videos
3:30pm Debrief the day and plan your next training day
4pm Go home
