We now offer a new 2-year fixed term post for a Lecturer in the Health Leadership programme that runs by Aston Medical School. Students who choose this thread graduate with a PG Certificate in Health Leadership. The post offers an exciting opportunity for those seeking a career within health and management, and applicants may have a background in clinical medicine or a relevant academic discipline.
Working within a supportive and dynamic multi-professional team and guided by the Health Leadership (HL) Programme Director, the postholder will lead one of the modules, take responsibility for the day-to-day management and operation of the HL programme and contribute to the teaching, assessment and curriculum development across the programme.
There are excellent opportunities for professional development. Post holders will be expected and supported to undertake the PG Certificate, Diploma or Masters in Higher Education provided by Aston University, and there will be opportunities for collaborative scholarship projects.
It is essential that applicants have a passion for supporting undergraduate healthcare and medical education and an enthusiasm for cross-discipline working with colleagues in the University and NHS.
