Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Beauty Therapist to join our dynamic team. Applicant would need to be attending a local Collage for Beauty Therapy or Nail Tech . This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the beauty industry while providing exceptional service to clients. The role involves supporting experienced therapists and gaining practical experience in various beauty treatments, with a focus on customer and reception duties.
Duties
- Assist senior beauty therapists with a range of treatments, including skincare, massage, and nail care
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment is clean and sterilised according to health and safety standards
- Provide personalised advice and consultations to clients regarding beauty services and products
- Deliver excellent customer service by welcoming clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the salon or spa environment
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and product stock management
- Attend training sessions to develop technical skills and industry knowledge
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of nail /gel/BIAB application is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is crucial
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Friendly, professional attitude with a genuine interest in beauty therapy and client care
- Organised, reliable, and eager to develop new skills within the beauty industry
- Previous experience in beauty or related fields is a plus but not mandatory; full training will be provided for the right candidate
