Overview
Milner Landscapes is seeking an experienced and motivated Skilled Landscaper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality landscaping projects across residential and commercial developments, undertaking both soft and hard landscaping works. This role requires a strong understanding of landscaping techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining exceptional standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out a range of hard and soft landscaping works to a high standard.
- Complete plot landscaping works including planting, turfing, mulching, and soil preparation.
- Install paving, edging, kerbing, fencing, decking, and other landscape features as required.
- Read and interpret landscaping drawings and specifications.
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and small plant machinery safely and effectively.
- Set out and prepare work areas in accordance with project requirements.
- Ensure all landscaping works are completed to company and client standards.
- Assist with site organisation and material management.
- Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Work closely with supervisors, site managers, and team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all health and safety regulations.
Experience & Requirements
- Proven experience within the landscaping industry is essential.
- Strong knowledge of both hard and soft landscaping practices.
- Experience in paving, fencing, planting, turfing, and general landscape construction.
- Ability to work from drawings and specifications with minimal supervision.
- Valid CSCS Card is essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
- Competency in operating landscaping equipment and machinery.
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Desirable Qualifications
- CPCS or NPORS plant operator tickets.
- Lantra or NPTC qualifications.
- SSSTS or supervisory experience.
- First Aid at Work qualification.

Pay: £110.00-£160.00 per day
