As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
At Hednesford, we offer 15-minute consults, supplemented with varied variety of surgical procedures including neutering, dentistry, and diagnostic investigations. There’s also opportunity to work up medical cases and emergencies. On average, we schedule no more than 18 appointments per day per vet, and there’ll always be 1 operation scheduled per day to maintain consistency and allow flexibility for emergency procedures.

The role won’t require any on call or out of hours, and there’s very minimal Saturday cover that’s required.
Our Hednesford team consist of four RVNs and one experienced vet. The site is equipped with digital X-ray facilities, 2 consulting rooms, separate theatre and ultrasound scanner.
I’ve been Head Nurse of Hednesford Vets since the branch first opened in 2015, and it has been incredibly rewarding to watch the practice grow over the years.
