Head of Marketing at The Hotel Folk

Suffolk

Pay: £45,000 pa

Full-time, Permanent

The Hotel Folk has a unique opportunity for a Head of Marketing to join our Head Office team reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

The marketing agenda is extremely varied and exciting. This role covers:

the management of all areas of the marketing mix including aspects of brand management,
website development,
direct marketing,
creation of exciting propositions for the individual hotels,
creative and media planning.

Working in a modern marketing department, this role also includes reviewing and development of our guest facing IT systems to ensure they are fit for purpose to provide a smooth online guest journey and efficient for operational colleagues to use.

Responsible for the marketing team, this role also sits on the executive team alongside peers such as hotel managers and other head office department managers. This role is also responsible for ensuring communication from hotel and department managers are translated and provided to the marketing team to action, ensuring they reach our guests on time.

The successful candidate will be CIM level 6 qualified and have a minimum GCSE grade A-C in maths and English, or equivalent. You will have a minimum of 8 years’ recent previous experience similar role of Head of Marketing or Marketing Manager in retail or hospitality, in a similar size organisation. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a proficient people manager and have well-honed analytical skills such that you are able to maximise revenue generation opportunities at any given site. You will have a current driving license and be able to travel across our sites in the beautiful Suffolk countryside and coast.

Hours of work are 40 per week. The role also benefits from 33 days holiday per annum.
