Retail Sales Supervisor – Woodbridge shop - IP12 1DE

Working Pattern:

Part-time 28 hours per week
Working 4 days over a 7 day week

\* Mandatory weekend working on a rotational basis \*

Permanent Contract

£12.71 per hour

East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) is looking for a Retail Sales Supervisor at our Woodbridge Shop. This is a fantastic opportunity to join EACH’s vibrant retail team and be an essential member of one of our charity shops to maximise income from donated goods, new products, Gift Aid, and eCommerce.

As a Retail Sales Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Shop Manager, acting as Duty Manager in their absence. You’ll also help lead and inspire our amazing volunteer team, ensuring they feel valued and empowered.

Our Woodbridge Shop is one of EACH’s boutique-style charity shop. This is a small but busy shop, focused on selling high fashion branded donations, offering a unique chance to work with quality fashion and merchandise in a vibrant retail setting.

What you’ll do:

Support the Shop Manager in achieving ambitious sales targets.
Maintain high standards of display, presentation, and cleanliness.
Promote Gift Aid and help grow our eCommerce presence.
Act as Duty Manager when required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Recruit, train, and support volunteers in a positive and inclusive environment.
Build strong relationships with customers and the local community.

What we’re looking for:

A welcoming, inclusive approach with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and use initiative.
Comfortable with lifting and moving stock and using electronic devices (tills, tablets, computers).
Experience in retail or team supervision is desirable, but not essential—we value transferable skills!
