Location: Gloucester, Westgate Street

Job Type: Fixed-Term Maternity Cover

Pay: £13.85ph

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm

About the Role

Within Reach is a supported living and residential care provider supporting vulnerable children and adults across a number of homes in Gloucester.

We are currently seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This role is ideal for someone organised, personable, and confident managing recruitment processes in a busy environment.

The successful candidate will support the recruitment team with interviewing potential staff members and assisting with all aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

This role will support the recruitment function from role creation through to onboarding and induction, including:

Monitoring and responding to recruitment enquiries
Updating job descriptions and company information
Organising and confirming interviews with candidates
Conducting screening calls and assessing candidate suitability
Processing new starter documentation and right-to-work checks
Securely maintaining personnel files
Scheduling interviews and updating recruitment systems
Supporting management with recruitment progress updates

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong organisational and communication skills
Good IT skills including Word, Excel, and Indeed
The ability to manage multiple candidates and applications simultaneously
Confidence working alongside recruitment and wider operational teams
Previous experience in recruitment, administration, or customer-facing roles (desirable)
Strong telephone and interpersonal skills
Good motivation and initiative

Desirable Knowledge

Experience or understanding of:

Right to Work requirements
DBS processes and regulations
E-Visas and overseas checks
Recruitment within the care sector or Ofsted-regulated environments

Additional Information

Day shift
Monday to Friday
Office-based role in Gloucester
