Full job description

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Yardman Operative / FLT Driver to join our busy team at Severnside.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role with competitive pay and the opportunity to play a key part in the smooth running of our transport operation.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday
Flexible start time:
- 08:00 – 16:00
- 09:00 – 17:00
8-hour shifts
5-day working week

Pay Rates

Monday – Friday: From £12.71 per hour
Saturday: £15.89 per hour
Sunday: £19.07 per hour
Enhanced rates available for experienced FLT Drivers

Key Responsibilities

Operating a Forklift Truck to safely relocate deliveries and trailers around the site
Supporting the efficient movement of goods within the yard and garage areas
Washing and cleaning HGV trailers to a high standard
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Reporting any vehicle, trailer, or equipment defects
Following all site health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

Previous FLT experience preferred
Valid FLT licence/certification advantageous
Strong awareness of health and safety
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Positive attitude with a willingness to support wider yard operations
