Trainee Dental Nurse
Guinea Court Dental Surgery | Basingstoke | Full-Time (43.5 Hours per Week)

Already enrolled on an accredited Dental Nursing course and looking for the right practice to complete your training?

At Guinea Court Dental Surgery, we're passionate about developing future Dental Nurses. If you're already working towards your qualification and are looking for a supportive practice where you can build your confidence, gain valuable clinical experience and learn from an experienced team, we'd love to hear from you.

Conveniently located in Basingstoke, we're easily accessible from Reading and the surrounding areas, with free on-site parking available next to and behind the practice.

The Role

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you'll work closely with our experienced clinicians and nursing team, gaining hands-on experience while completing your qualification.

You'll be supported throughout your training as you develop the skills and confidence needed to become a qualified Dental Nurse.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting clinicians with chairside support across a range of dental treatments.
Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms.
Learning and following infection prevention and control procedures.
Assisting with decontamination and instrument processing.
Supporting patients throughout their appointments with professionalism and empathy.
Learning to maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
Working collaboratively with the wider practice team to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Working Pattern

This is a full-time position working 43.5 hours per week:

Monday – Thursday: 7:45am – 5:45pm
Friday: 7:45am – 3:45pm
