Full job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Estates team as a Facilities Operative, playing a key role in maintaining and supporting a diverse portfolio of corporate buildings, including hostels, chapels, Torrington Pannier Market, and Caddsdown Business Support Centre.

In this varied and hands-on role, you will help ensure our sites remain safe, well-presented, and fully operational, delivering a high standard of facilities and maintenance support while providing excellent customer service. You will also assist the Premises and Facilities Team Leader with the organisation and management of storage facilities, as well as the delivery and collection of office furniture and election equipment as required across the district.

We are looking for a flexible and proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, with a practical approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. A property maintenance qualification and a full driving licence are essential for this role.
