Assistant Manager – Che Bar & Coco Nightclub
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Assistant Manager to help lead our team and deliver exceptional customer experiences across both venues.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in a bar, nightclub, hospitality, or entertainment management role.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a diverse team.
* Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
* Confidence in dealing with challenging situations and resolving customer complaints professionally.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience managing staff rotas, attendance, and performance.
* Sound knowledge of licensing laws, health & safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service.
* Cash handling, stock control, and venue opening/closing experience.
* The ability to remain calm under pressure during busy trading periods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A hands-on approach and willingness to lead by example on the floor.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts.
Desirable qualities:
* Personal Licence Holder (or willingness to obtain one).
* Experience in nightclub operations, security liaison, and event management.
* Social media and promotional marketing experience.
* Knowledge of EPOS systems and hospitality reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of Che Bar and Coco Nightclub.
* Lead shifts and ensure high standards of service are maintained.
* Recruit, train, and develop team members.
* Monitor stock levels, wastage, and ordering.
* Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and company policies.
* Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
* Assist with event planning, promotions, and venue growth.
* Help drive sales while maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.

Pay: £16.00 per hour
