Project Assistant

The Team & Focus of the Role

Our Infrastructure Services team continue to go from strength to strength and as such, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Assistant to come and join our team based in Bury St Edmunds.

At Fisher German our customers and clients are at the heart of what we do. Our Infrastructure Services division assists in delivering projects for the UK on behalf of clients across a range of different sectors including electricity, gas, water, fibre optics, oil, and renewables.

This role would suit an individual who is a motivated self-starter and really thrives working in fast paced environments with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to provide great service both to internal colleagues and external clients. We are a busy team who are delivering multiple complex projects to several different clients, all of whom have different processes and expectations

This is a permanent, full-time position (Mon-Fri), based in our Bury St Edmunds office within our hybrid working policy.

In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in:

Duties will include:

Liaising with landowners and external stakeholders
Communicating with Clients and responding to requests
Liaising with other contractors and external organisations
Co-ordinating and sending Land Access Requests
Manage and respond to project enquiries (calls, emails, post)
Keeping records of financial transactions
Preparation of documents: notices, licences, meeting minutes, maintain databases and documentation tracking
Manage returned documentation, consents

The successful candidate will have...

Have excellent organisational skills, and is confident working to deadlines
Clear and professional communication styles, both written and verbal
Experience of project management would be advantageous
Meticulous attention to detail
Be confident with using Microsoft Office, with proficient Excel skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Can manage own workload, prioritising tasks as appropriate
Works well as part of a team
