Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Skid Steer Bobcat Operator to join our Road Planing Division (Trainee will be considered) The successful candidate will be responsible for operating skid steer loaders efficiently and safely across various projects. This role requires a good understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work in dynamic environments, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Duties
- Operate skid steer loaders with precision and safety.
- Load, unload, and transport materials around construction sites or designated areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or potential faults.
- work as a team member within the company and the Road Planing Division
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment to prevent accidents.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project progression.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating skid steer loaders (Bobcat) in a construction or similar environment. Although not necessary as training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge to identify basic issues with machinery and perform minor repairs if necessary.
- Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) or equivalent is preferred for transporting equipment between sites.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.

Pay: £500.00-£900.00 per week
