Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Gaming Community & Content Specialist to join our team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with gaming communities, develop compelling content, and enhance our brand presence across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for gaming, excellent communication skills, and experience in social media management and public relations. This role is essential in fostering positive relationships within the gaming community and promoting our brand through innovative digital strategies.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow online gaming communities across social media channels, forums, and dedicated platforms.
Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content including videos, articles, and social media posts tailored to our target audience.
Monitor community interactions, respond to comments and messages promptly, and facilitate positive engagement.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to plan campaigns that resonate with gamers and enhance brand visibility.
Organise virtual events, live streams, or competitions to foster community participation and loyalty.
Analyse engagement metrics to optimise content strategies and report on community growth trends.
Maintain a consistent brand voice across all digital channels while adhering to community guidelines and moderation policies.
Build relationships with influencers, content creators, and key stakeholders within the gaming industry.

Qualifications

Proven experience in social media management, public relations, or related roles within the gaming or entertainment industry.
Strong understanding of gaming culture, trends, and popular titles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English.
Ability to create engaging multimedia content including videos, graphics, and written posts.
Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms.
Creative thinker with a passion for community building and digital storytelling.
Prior experience working with gaming communities or esports is highly desirable.
