Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working in an environment that fosters, nurtures and stimulates children. This role requires excellent communication skills. The Early Years Practitioner will play a crucial role in supporting children's development and learning through engaging activities and positive interactions. This role involves working with children aged 0-3 only and any successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.

The role will be full-time. The role will not be term time only and the successful candidate will be expected to be available all year round.

Responsibilities

Love, attention and nurturing
Demonstrate good practice
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Demonstrate good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion
Support the continuous improvement and quality of children and education within the nursery
Plan and prepare daily activities
Work in partnership with parents and carers
Observe and support children's learning and development following the EYFS Framework
Maintain accurate records

Qualifications

Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification with experience is essential
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour
