Full job description

We are expanding out extremely busy specialist staircasting and lift shaft departments in Workington. We have an opportunity for a Steel Fixer to support us in manufacturing quality bespoke precast concrete products.

Duties to include:

Reading and following drawings;
Hand tying rebar steel cages which sit inside the mould ad reinforce the concrete;
Keeping all equipment and work area tidy to ensure a safe working environment.

Knowledge and experience of working with precast concrete is preferred however not essential.

Pay negotiable depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £14.42 per hour

Work Location: In person
