We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to help further develop our business in West Cumbria.
It’s a region full of entrepreneurs, where digital innovators sit alongside nuclear industry experts, where agile advanced manufacturers find solutions to the latest engineering challenges, all against the backdrop of the stunning Lake District hills and the sweeping Cumbrian coast.
You’ll be right at the heart of the region – shaping campaigns, advising clients and delivering results that make a positive difference.
One minute you’re advising a client on positioning, the next you’re writing a press release that lands coverage where it counts.
You must be based within Cumbria, Lancashire, the North-East or South West Scotland, and be able to travel to clients and team meetings as required.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as the senior day-to-day lead across a portfolio of clients
- Planning and delivering PR and communications campaigns with clear objectives and measurable results
- Writing high-quality content – press releases, features, opinion pieces and digital copy
- Providing strategic counsel to clients
- Managing projects, deadlines and budgets
- Spotting opportunities, solving challenges and keeping momentum across accounts
- Contributing to new business activity, proposals and pitches
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years’ experience in PR, communications or content
- A strong, confident writer who can adapt tone and style with ease
- Someone who understands how PR delivers real positive business outcomes
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing client relationships
- Organised, commercially aware and calm under pressure
- Proactive by nature
- Full UK driving licence
