MANUFACTURING OPERATORS with Joinery

West Port Timber Windows and Doors make high performance bespoke timber windows, doors and fire door-sets for the domestic and commercial marketplace and we're proud to be a successful British manufacturer. From our 175,000 sq. ft factory on the Cumbrian Coast we deliver throughout the country for installation by a network of licensed distributors. We make timber products that combine quality engineering and technical know-how with designs that suit British buildings traditional or contemporary.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit key Operators to work on a permanent full time basis. The main purpose of the role will be to ensure maximum productivity and utilisation of machines and resources ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are upheld at all times.

Duties include:

Working from drawings to produce products
Using both hand and power tools on a daily basis
Machine Operation (Full training is given)
Working in a team to produce items within given timescales
General Labouring & keeping work areas tidy
Excellent Teamworking skills and a desire to learn and develop are essential

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a factory environment and being part of a team.

We are looking for people who have an excellent work ethic and are flexible in their approach.

Ideally these roles will be fulltime 40hrs over 4 days Mon -Thursday, however we will consider applicants requiring part-time work. All roles are available for an immediate start for the right candidates.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
