We are seeking a motivated climbing arborist to join our dynamic team. If you have a can-do attitude, strong teamwork skills, and the necessary qualifications, we’d love to hear from you!
We carry out a range of tree work from domestic and commercial customers, housing, highways and local authorities. Candidates must have industry experience and hold the necessary NPTC and LANTRA certifications.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities
- Tree Maintenance and Removal:
- Perform tree pruning, thinning, and crown lifting for both domestic and commercial clients.
- Conduct safe and efficient tree removals using climbing methods or aerial platforms as required.
- Execute tree felling and dismantling tasks with precision.
- Equipment Management:
- Inspect, maintain, and ensure the safe use of all climbing and cutting equipment.
- Operate woodchippers and other machinery following safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to complete jobs efficiently and safely.
- Assist with ground operations, including clearing debris and managing site cleanliness.
- Support team members in climbing and rescue operations as needed.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to company and industry safety standards at all times.
- Conduct site risk assessments and ensure safe working practices.
- Participate in regular drug and alcohol testing to maintain a safe workplace.
- Customer Interaction:
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients.
- Address client inquiries and concerns on-site to ensure satisfaction.
Essential Criteria
- Valid UK driving license
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
- 1-2 years of climbing experience
- NPTC CS30/31 (Chainsaw Maintenance and Felling)
- NPTC CS38 (Tree Climbing and Rescue)
Desirable Criteria
- NPTC CS39 (Aerial Cutting)
- NPTC CS41 (Aerial Tree Rigging)
- CSCS Card
- Woodchipper Operations Certification
