Job Overview
I am seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer specialising in roofing and cladding to join our team. This role involves supporting various aspects of roofing and cladding projects, including site preparation, material handling, and basic construction tasks. The successful candidate will play a part in ensuring the smooth progress of our projects, adhering to safety standards and working efficiently within a team environment. This position offers an opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in construction, roofing, cladding and general labouring.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing/ cladding systems using hand tools and power tools.
Handle materials safely, including lifting of roofing materials and equipment.
Operate various power tools safely and effectively during construction activities.
Perform site preparation work such as clearing debris, organising materials.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure safe working for all the team.

Requirements

Previous experience or familiarity with construction sites is advantageous but not essential.
Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment desirable.
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality work standards are maintained.
Good teamwork ethic with effective communication skills.
Valid health and safety awareness related to construction sites and working at height.
Valid in date CSCS card and CIS registered.
Ability to drive and able to reach a pick up point in the S20/S21 area.
