As a Senior Carer, you’ll play a key leadership role within our care team. You’ll provide exceptional hands‑on support while guiding and mentoring colleagues to uphold the highest standards of care. Your experience, confidence, and compassion will help create a safe, nurturing environment where residents feel valued, respected, and truly at home.

What You’ll Do

Lead person‑centred care — oversee and deliver tailored support in line with individual care plans.
Support daily living — assist with washing, dressing, mobility, and personal care with dignity and respect.
Administer medication — safely administer, record, and audit medication in accordance with policies, training, and regulatory standards.
Promote wellbeing — encourage hydration, nutrition, and meaningful engagement in daily activities.
Provide companionship — build trusting relationships through conversation, empathy, and shared moments.
Monitor health changes — observe, record, and report any concerns promptly and accurately.
Supervise and support colleagues — act as a role model, offering guidance, coaching, and practical support.
Liaise with families and professionals — ensure clear communication and collaborative care.
Maintain high standards — uphold safeguarding, compliance, and best‑practice procedures at all times.

What You’ll Bring

A genuine passion for care and a commitment to making a meaningful difference.
Strong leadership qualities—confidence, initiative, and the ability to support and motivate others.
Excellent communication skills and a calm, compassionate approach.
Reliability and professionalism, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience in care, ideally with supervisory responsibilities.
Competency in medication administration (training can be provided if needed).
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is highly desirable (or willingness to work towards it).
