Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to a well-established pharmacy team, optimise sales, and enhance organisational efficiency.Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the pharmacy, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of pharmacy assistants and support staff to ensure high performance levels.
Oversee sales management and merchandising strategies to maximise revenue and optimise product displays.
Maintain compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations governing pharmacy practice.
Implement effective organisational procedures to streamline workflow and improve service delivery.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
Foster excellent communication with customers, suppliers, and healthcare professionals to build strong relationships.
Ensure the pharmacy maintains a professional appearance with effective merchandising and signage.
Utilise excellent phone etiquette when dealing with clients or suppliers over the phone.
Monitor stock levels regularly and coordinate procurement activities to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Experience

Proven management experience within a pharmacy environment, including supervising teams and managing sales targets.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide staff effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
Effective communication skills in both verbal and written forms
Demonstrated proficiency in merchandising, time management, and customer service excellence.
Familiarity with pharmacy regulations, health & safety standards, and administrative procedures is desirable. This position offers an engaging environment for a dedicated professional eager to lead a successful pharmacy team while delivering outstanding service to our community.

Pay: From £13.50 per hour
