Location: Crawley, Rossetts Commercials

Job Type: Full-Time. Permanent

Hours: 47 hours per week. 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday with a 1-hour break each day plus 1-in-3 Saturdays 07:00am to 01:00pm.

Salary: Starting from £34,750 up to £38,028 DOE, plus additional target-based bonuses up to £1500 per annum

Specialising in sales, servicing, parts, and aftersales support for vans, trucks, and electric commercial vehicles. We offer a complete 'one-stop shop' for all your commercial vehicle needs. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle service advisor to join our busy site in Worthing as the Senior Service Advisor.

Role overview:

· As the Senior Service Advisor you will be a confident and customer-focussed professional taking the lead in our team of Service Advisors.

· You will deliver exceptional customer service throughout the customer’s journey.

· You will manage bookings, update customers and liaise with other departments to ensure smooth workflow, quotations and follow-up.

· You will drive up selling opportunities to maximise revenue.

Role duties and main responsibilities:

· Lead, motivate and support the team of service advisors including running daily team meetings.

· Oversee the smooth day to day running of the front of house, ensuring high standards of professionalism and presentation at all times.

· Take instructions from customer’s and process efficiently service and/or repairs in workshop and obtain customer’s signature on completed repair order.

· Maintain the progress of customer’s vehicle repair work, communicating any additional work required, obtaining authority, and ensuring full payment of any cash accounts before releasing vehicle.

· Work with the Site Manager to review and manage WIP/Cash debts/Account debts.

· Notify the customer of their vehicle status and arranging collection or delivery.

· Hand over vehicle in a professional manor, and in a clean condition, inspect vehicle for any bodywork damage, explain repair work carried out, if additional work is required re- book vehicle for future work.

· Ensure that Technicians job card write-up and allocation of time is well documented to ensure accurate billing.

· Maintain a good working relationship with customers by answering the telephone and responding to any queries within the target set by the Company to ensure repeat business.

· Ensure customer’s vehicle history is reviewed and maintained up to date and customer is informed of required services due.

· Ensure that customers who are waiting for their vehicle are comfortable.

· Ensure customer’s vehicles are secure at all times, especially when parked in the compound.

· Maintain the smooth running of the 24-hour service for incoming breakdowns and authority required for the repairs carried out in the workshop relating to the breakdowns

About You

· Existing Service Advisor experience in a commercial vehicle dealership is essential.

· A full UK drivers' licence is essential.

· Kerridge experience is desirable
